    However, that is not my complaint. I was told they would be at my house between 8 am and 4 pm so I made arrangements for that. At 5:30 pm I called to find out where they were. The woman who answered the phone said the needed truck (the one with the power tailgate) wasn't available. WTF

    Why book the job? Why wasn't there a phone call to inform me they weren't coming? I am disgusted and I will tell anyone who will listen, my story.

    Last Wednesday I arranged for a truck to pick up a fridge that was to be delivered about 170 km away. This is a regular Highway 9 route. The quote seemed very high but the invoice broke it down to show where all the money was going. You are charging $84.00 because the pick-up and drop-off points are residences????? There was also a power tailgate charge and a fuel surcharge for $77. That's not counting the actual delivery charge.
