Stopped here on a tour and as the tour guide said this is a little church that seats 10,000 but only 6 people at a time. Per the guide it was rebuilt in the last couple of years by the inmates at the penitentiary. Good place to stop with kids.

The Little Church is just outside of Drumheller, Alberta. Right along the north side of highway 838 North Dinosaur Trail between the Royal Tyrrell Museum and the Golf Course, it is immediately accessible. Perfectly maintained, I don't see how it isn't vandalized as it would be in many other locales. It's a cherished landmark built in 1968 and reconstructed by inmates of the Drumheller Institution in 1991.

When I saw this in the guide I thought it was an actual church. Ended up driving past it and stopped to see it because it's literally a little church! I loved it! It's bigger on the inside then I had thought. Well maintained and not full of spiders.

It's literally just a tiny church, hence the name "Little Church". It's cute!
